Senior Software Engineer
I like building production systems from the ground up and staying involved in maintaining and running them. I’ve been doing this for over six years, working mainly across full-stack and backend systems, data pipelines, and applied ML.
I’m currently the founding engineer at NOSBAAN, a multi-property, monthly-rentals business in Bangkok, where I’m the sole engineer building and running the platform for a small, cross-functional team. Outside of work, I’m building MonOCR, an open-source OCR project for the Mon language.
Selected Work
Event-driven ERP & AI Messaging Platform
Designed and built the ERP platform and public portal NOSBAAN runs on, along with an AI-assisted messaging system now in supervised rollout.
Async processing isolates failures and keeps heavy workloads off the request path. Load-tested with 120 concurrent users, reaching a P95 of ~1.06s.
MonOCR — OCR for the Mon Language
Mon is a UNESCO-classified vulnerable language with no OCR model of its own. MonOCR brings together the dataset, models, and tooling needed to build and improve them.
An 11.55M-parameter model is exported to ONNX and CoreML and runs on web, Android, and iOS. Verified samples are fed back into the next training run.
System Migration & Cost Reduction
Proposed and led a migration to a simpler system design for the Myanmar Biodiversity Portal. Removed a dedicated server and consolidated two data tools into one, cutting infrastructure cost by ~33%.
For the Regional Data Platform, replaced a high-latency two-step Airflow pipeline with a lightweight script-based workflow. Python generates static JSON, which runs through GitLab Runner, cutting latency from 1–2 hours to under 5 minutes and cost by ~50%.
Data Platforms
Built and maintain a public civic data platform with 2.8K peak daily active users (GA4) and ~10K annual active users. Built the Regional Data Platform, an ETL pipeline that serves near-real-time policy and research data.
